We I went to school today after working until 6 am and then for some stupid reason reading the IIS schedule and realizing the fresh new semester started in 3 hours.

Generally Stupid and Surely Stupid

If I was to get a reduced GPA because of a lack of physical prowess I would be pissed off. This is not high school or junior high. This is university and I pay for this. Who the hell's bright idea is it that badminton is a compulsory major component of any university degree that does not deal with physical fitness anyhow?

Shoutbox Module!

I like the shout box module in the left menu. It's kinda cool I think. For those of you that might be having a difficult time figuring it out you just type your message in the input box under it and press 'enter'.

As well, you can change your font and other stuff by clicking on the icons above the text box. If youi click on the blue icon, the shout box opens up to a full fledged chat! Very cool little module,

It annoys me that this class was cancelled and we had to go to school to find this out. This is unacceptable from a Univeristy in the 21 century.

Finished one course today!

I have one other class that is work heavy and challenging. I will be very happy next Wednesday. I don't know when the next courses start though!

At least I have Friday off so I can go for a quick drink on Thrusday evening.

Currently in Universities, students are being prepared for jobs that do not exist. We are training to use technologies that will not exist for years. We are training students to solve problems that we don't even know are problems yet. People 10 years ago were expected to have 3 different careers in their lifetime. Todays learners will have 10 - 14 jobs by the time they are 38 years old. In today's workforce 1 in 4 workers have been with their current employer for less than 1 year and 1 of 2 workers has been thier for less than 5 years. How does that make you feel in Thailand when you pay for your government job? Wanna know more?....

I am still tired

I did not go to bed until 3 AM, I could not sleep and I have to be to work by 8:30... I hope this afternoon is better than the day so far!

Student ID card

Getting a student ID card is important. If you do not get a student card ID before you graduate your degree will be classified as a non-degree. What that means is that if you do want to make it a degree you will have to transfer your credits over to the degree porgram at a 1000 b cost each credit. Considering that BA degree requires 144 credits thats a hefty fee for not having a student ID.

Finally a day off

Well, as of Last Wednesday.. I have Mondays and Wednesdays off. This is great considering fo rthe past 4 months it has been a 5 day a week schedule. Later this week, I should have Tuesdays and Fridays off but I am already taking the English class with Professor Stephens so once I write the final for Socialogy on Tuesday, I need to start immediately later that day in the English class.

Tuesday at School

I jumped into a different class today, EN 492 - Social Criticism in Literature. Oddly, It was not on my schedule I just wanted to take it but when I got to class and looked at the enrollment form, my name was on it.

Business English in the Office

It is Monday Morning and I am off to school. I am so excited because the have the Office Business English ESL course.  So I will keep you posted as to how the course is. Me thinks it's gonna be a choppy day!
